My name is Meagan Figueroa, and I am a radical educator! I am currently a student at Rutgers University - Newark studying environmental sciences with the hopes to apply my education into community-based engagement. I want to be able to help people foster a connection between themselves and the wellbeing of their surrounding environment through education on sustainable practices and how to advocate for change. I still have a lot to learn about how to amplify the concerns of people and share knowledge that will help urban communities, like Newark, prosper.
